Press and hold the button to turn on the power. The blue light will turn on (default to one level), and it will automatically turn off after 5 seconds.

There are three gears (each gear counts as many turns). When the machine is turned on, press the button once to reach the first gear, press it twice in a row to reach the second gear, and press it three times in a row to reach the third gear.
